History of Kurukshetra University

In 1956, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, established the foundation for Kurukshetra University, which is a residential university for one student at a time.  The campus is on the western shore of Brahm Sarover (the holy tank) and covers more than 400 acres.
