Admission Process

Examiation Pattern

The University term-end examination (TEE) will be conducted online, specifically through computer-based and online proctoring methods.
Candidates may take the examinations from the convenience of their homes.
A photo admit card will contain the exam schedule. Student program guides provide additional exam pattern information.
Student portals will post exam results. Students who fail any of the papers in UE or IA must reappear through submission to the University via the re-sitting application and paying the required fees by the due date.
After meeting all University requirements, successful students will receive their program degree.

What is the evaluation and assessment structure for the program at SMU Online?

Students will be evaluated on continuous assessments (CA) via assignments and term-end exams (TEE) with description and multiple-choice questions. To pass the exam, students must achieve a minimum of 40% in each. The TEE/CA assessment ratio is 70:30. A student passes with at least 40% in both parts.

Does SMU Online offer EMI ?

SMU Online offers no cost EMI The annual fee's EMI must be paid regularly for 12 months. Our loan partners approve loans based on credit and document submission. Loan partners may charge additional fees and require applicants to meet additional requirements. Please ask our admission counselors about EMIs and other easy financing options.
